Colombian coloratura soprano Natalia Pastrana is a graduate of the Haute école de musique de Genève (HEM), the Haute école des arts de Berne (HKB) and the Swiss Opera Studio, where she studied with Malin Hartelius. On the theatre stage, she has appeared in Jean-Philippe Rameau’s Zaïs and Fabien Müller’s Eiger (world premiere) at the Theater Biel-Solothurn. Natalia appeared also in Cimarosa’s Il matrimonio segreto with the WorkshOpera Bern and in V. Herbert’s Babes in Toyland directed by Olivier Tambosi. She has performed as a soloist under the direction of Marcus Bosch, Christoph Campestrini, Gabriel Garrido und Sigiswald Kuijken, among others. Since September 2023, she is a member of the Vienna State Opera’s Choir Academy.
