Colombian high soprano Natalia Pastrana is a graduate of the Haute école de musique de Genève (HEM), the Haute école des arts de Berne (HKB), and the Swiss Opera Studio, where she studied with Malin Hartelius. On stage, she has appeared in Jean-Philippe Rameau’s Zaïs and Fabien Müller’s Eiger (world premiere) at Theater Biel-Solothurn. She also performed in Cimarosa’s Il matrimonio segreto with WorkshOpera Bern and in Victor Herbert’s Babes in Toyland, directed by Olivier Tambosi.

As a soloist, she has worked under the direction of conductors such as Marcus Bosch, Christoph Campestrini, Gabriel Garrido, and Sigiswald Kuijken. From September 2023 to April 2025, she was a member of the Academy of the Chorus of the Vienna State Opera and sang as Soprano 1 with the choir of the same house as well as with the Konzertvereinigung Wiener Staatsopernchor at the Salzburg Festival 2025.
